Tuition fees are more or less in line with the cost of long-haul business class tickets (e.g., roundtrip MNL to NYC or MNL to Paris). Fees are updated regularly and published in the reservation form. Tuition covers full cost of the year-long fellowship and includes sponsorship of 2 full scholars from underprivileged families. Click here to see latest tuition fees and/or to reserve a seat in our next cohort.
Scholarships are subsidized by paying Fellows from privileged families and are made available only to underprivileged students who cannot afford the tuition. Click here to reserve a seat as a scholar in our next cohort.
The Young Fellows program is precisely designed as a minimum 12-out-of-52-week program. That is, we give each Fellow 52 weeks (i.e., 1 whole year) to select at least 12 cumulative weeks to attend our weekly community of practice and complete other requirements. So for example, a typical Young Fellow might attend a 2-3 hour community of practice (via Zoom) 1x per month and so have a lot of room to complete the requirements across 52 weeks. We do this to accommodate the busy schedules (academic and extra-curricular load) of high-performing high school students, who use the Fellows app to complete fellowship requirements at their own pace. It really depends on the waitlist line. On average, we expect to start cohorts every 3 months, except in the months of November, December and January when we do not normally start new cohorts. Click here to reserve a seat in our next cohort.
Here’s a really simple and easy test if you should be a Young Fellow or not. Requires only that you be honest, most of all with yourself (or if you’re a parent, with your children).
Watch this 60-second video, Here’s To The Crazy Ones, from Apple. If it resonates with you and makes something deep inside you nod in agreement because this is what you want for yourself (or for your children), then congratulations – you are one of us and we will welcome you as an Ni2 Fellow.
That’s it. Click here if you passed the test and would like to reserve your seat in our next YF cohort.
An integral part of our social innovation is the open admissions policy that welcomes all comers to the YF-IIR program. All you have to do is reserve a seat as either a paying fellow or subsidized scholar. While anyone can start, only those who complete the minimum credentials within the 52-week cycle will earn the distinction of Ni2 Young Fellow Innovator-In-Residence.
