MJ, a 4th year Computer Science student from Malayan Colleges and a veteran Guilder, has submitted Weebsite as an entry in the PH Startup challenge 2021.

Weebsite, or Project LANCE, is a platform for digital artists and content creators to gain exposure while having a simpler time selling their products or services.

ANDRE: Go back to Hurdle 6 - Expound your vision story so that you’ll figure out how Iggy will use your product from beginning to end. Your objective and key results are your goals for the next 3-6 months, and you build according to those targets. To have a minimum viable build, you need to set a minimum viable OKR.

" We have our product already set up, but what features can we add to really make a difference in impact. And are we really heading the right direction?”

Ronen and team are 4th year BS IT students from PUP working on their thesis to make an impact for the workers and businesses that were hit by the irregular work situation brought about by the pandemic.

Their project, Job Matcher, acts as a bridge between the job seeker and the employers where they cross each other with a unique algorithm that uses compatibility percentages to find a perfect match.

ANDRE: A consensus among the community is you go back to Zone 1, to be particular Hurdle 4: Target Impact & Wishlist. First, you gotta know who your stakeholder is and secondly, what is it that they really want and need that you can provide? As of now there is nothing that differentiates you from any other competitors. By going a few steps back to Zone 1, you need to understand the pains of your stakeholder. Stop being part of the 99% of people who start ideating their solution without digging into the problem.

ISA: If we want an innovation that is different from the 99% who are solving the same problem - you have to ask about the underlying question. THAT QUESTION COULD BE ANSWERED BY HAVING A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF IGGY!<3

Hi Ronen I totally feel what you feel na no support ang school and teachers. Everybody in my class is bound within the 4 walls of the classroom lang. Ako I really hated it. I explored and I went back and forth in Manila learning new experiences as well as competing in business competitions. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but don't be discouraged if sometimes the plan doesn't go your way. Just remember curiosity will lead you further than talent will.

                  The C-Suite Huddles are conducted as 1:1 Zoom interviews, each interview taking no more than 60 minutes with each leader.
