THE DAYONE CHALLENGE

What is my biggest Aha! from Day1 and how (concretely, specifically) will I use it to drive better outcomes and impact for my career, company or community?

My biggest takeaway from today is that I need to take time to better understand my inner, deeper truths - or who I really am inside. Discovering who I truly am underneath is something I've never given too much thought on - I've just gone with the flow. Now more than ever, I need to be in the right place that brings out the best in me, not just for myself, but for those around me. I know the potential that I have in me, the only thing left to do is to discover where my potential can flourish the most. So for now finding my deeper truths is what will drive my career, and a life of meaning and purpose, forward.

My AHA moment is that I am not the only one noticing this problem of people not speaking up and that arguments are fuels for innovation. I shouldn't be afraid of them! My AHA moment for today is never to be afraid of voicing your thoughts or ideas to other people. I agree with what Isa said earlier that many people struggle with expressing their thoughts; the old version of me can relate to this. We should always learn how to step out of our boxes because there’s always room for improvement for every one of us. My introverted self a few months back would always be afraid of telling other people her thoughts and ideas; now, I’m glad that I came across amazing people who helped me step up and eradicate the fear of judgement from others in my system.

Once an opportunity opens, check whether it’s aligned with who you are, what your values and who do you live for and say yes to it because you don’t know if that opportunity will happen again. So you really need to listen to the voice inside of you coz it won’t tell lies. Together with the right people, you can create a massive impact. But first, you need to listen to your deepest truth.

My Aha! Moment is to be courageous to voice out your thoughts, nothing will change if you keep it by yourself. There are a lot of things that people around you can get from the things you are about to share. Collaboration is about the diversity of every member's perspectives, concepts and is driven by their shared mission. You may not be correct but there are big chances that other members can build up from your ideas and get things to look better. Sharing your ideas, experiences, and beliefs helps others not just to learn from it but also to know you even more. I just realized the creation of ideas and friendship starts with sharing.

My Aha moment for today is to be open to any doors or opportunities that may come. Every step is not easy, but if we want to be the best version of ourselves, then we need to work hard for it.
